My Best January Ever

Alhamdulillah, setelah sekian lama kuliah, akhirnya gw bisa merasakan liburan, yeaaah benar benar liburan sepertinya. Tau lah ya anak Fasilkom UI yang terkenal dengan sibuknya, kalo lagi menjalani semester panjang berasa kaga ada liburnya, Sabtu-Minggu pun bukan untuk refreshing tapi malah kadang2 dirampas buat ngerjain tugas, PR, dan lalalaaa.. :mrgreen:.

SP v.s. Nyodok

Well, after more than one year, I finally express my mind again with this kind of writing (Hortatory/Analytical Exposition ~ if I’m not mistaken :P). Yeaaah, here I’ll provide 2 different sides that you might think better. Both of them are some of common terms in college.

Yes, ‘SP’ (Semester Pendek / Short Semester) is a period that gives you a chance to take some courses to spend your holiday between even semester and odd semester in college. You might get many advantages of taking this. First, you can keep you brain works along the holiday because some experiences showed that if we don’t study 4 a quite long period, our brain ability will decrease “like an unsharpened knive” :P. Second, you’ll be more focused on the courses you take and your “weight” will be lighter then because in long semester, there are more and more courses to concern. Third, this is also a good chance 4 u, who want to graduate faster. But, there are some consequences of taking ‘SP’. If you’re a kind of person who really wants full holiday, you’ll lose a part of your “real holiday” :D. Then, the fee is quite expensive. Just imagine, about Rp250.000 for 1 SKS. For example : I take a course with 3 SKS, so I pay Rp750.000. Usually 2 sessions a week for 2 months, yeaah it will be about > 40.000 for each session, quite a money, huh? 😦

What about ‘Nyodok’? ‘Nyodok’ is a chance for the students who wants to take more SKS than usual in a semester. The same with ‘SP’, this is also a chance 4 the person who wants to graduate faster. It could probably train us to organize our time better. Well, maybe it’s quite like an acceleration of study. One of the advantages you can take here is you don’t have to spend any money to do this , because it’s free :D. But, the consequencies are you must prepare and be ready with term ‘tugas numpuk, ujian numpuk ’ :P. Let see, when your other friends are relaxing from tasks, you may in the time when you’re having that term, and you must accept it sincerely, because that’s the risk :P.

Okay, the choice is up to you. ‘SP’ or ‘Nyodok’? They’re both good, now it just depends on your need and ability. 🙂

Sumber Derita Adenia (SDA)

Teringat beberapa komentar tentang SDA di postinga yang lalu yang berjudul “Tugas 4 DPBO yang tak terlupakan >.<” dari beberapa senior beberapa bulan yang lalu, membuat gw ingin menulis apa yg gw rasain kepada SDA setelah gw melewati momen2 bersamanya, hahahaaa. Yak, SDA itu Sumber Daya Alam, eh bukan, SDA itu Struktur Data & Algoritma, eh salah lagi, SDA itu Sumber Derita Adenia :P. Seperti yg gw udah janjiin di postingan sebelumnya, kali ini akan dibahas secara spesial alias ngeluarin segala rasa dan semua unek2 tentang SDA. Makasih juga buat Ardo (Ardi doank alias Ardi Lionheart alias Ardi Al Haidar :lol:) yang inspiring dan ngingetin gw di Plurk untuk nulis tentang ini, hehe.. Sampai akhirnya gw nyiptain bikin pelesetan lagu tentang SDA.

Semester Tanpa Mata Kuliah Hiburan

Baru aja gw lewatin semester 3 (semester yang semua kuliahnya berat tanpa mata kuliah hiburan pertama) setelah melewati semester 2 dengan hiburan kuliah fisika yang nilainya udah terjamin, di kelas cuma senang-senang, dan semseter 1 dengan kuliah mpk b.ing yang gak banyak tugas dan mpkt yang agak sedikit rese tapi waktu kuliah bisa sambil ngenet, hahaaa… Secara resmi tanggal 28 Desember 2009 semester 3 pun berakhir dengan penutup UAS PPW dan Tugas2 SDA jam 21.00. Oke, ini dia matkul-matkul yang gw ambil di semester 3. Let’s check them out…

Kalkulus2
Weeew, lanjutan kalkulus1 nih, dan gw berasa belom dapet apa2 di kalkulus1, karena pas ditanya2in banyak yg lupa ataupun belom dapet, hiks.. 😥 Belajar tentang barisan, deret, integral lipat, turunan parsial, vektor, dll. Kuliah ini sangat butuh konsentrasi, kalo gak konsen dikiiiiit aja, udah deh ke belakangnya bakal banyak yg missed sampai jam kuliah selesai, and it happened to me. Dosennya emang cocok dan bagus banget buat anak-anak axel sih kayaknya, jadi gw yg anak standar agak sedikit kelabakan untuk nerima. Generally, she’s cool, she gave much knowledge to be applied in our daily life, and she’s very creative to relate it to the lesson which was going! Great! 🙂 Well, my bad and ashaming exam1 score gave me more spirit to study harder in the next sessions, then I took revenge in exam2 and exam3 scores :P.
